This latest podcast is the first in a series of four where I’ll be presenting the A-Z of electronica. The idea was to approach 26 podcasters and let each choose one letter of the alphabet, an artist beginning with their chosen letter and a song by that artist.

There are still some letters to be allocated so if you’re a podcaster and wish to contribute the notes below should tell you all you need to know.

Wanted: 26 podcasters to collaborate on the Well Made Music a-z of electronica podcast.

The idea is to have 4 podcasts featuring 26 podcasters each of whom will select one artist to feature on the a-z of electronica.

Initially I’ll not be assigning each podcaster a letter, however later on in the selection process I may be putting out a call for entries, so to speak, to fill in any gaps.

To clear things up, a solo artist e.g. John Smith would be under S not J, and a group e.g. The Whatevers would be under W not T.

I would like it if each podcaster would record a little 20 second intro featuring who they are, the podcast they produce, where it can be found, the artist and the song. All podcasters and artists will also be mentioned, with links, on the Well Made Music blog.

As selections come in I’ll be posting updates on letters still available.

There will be 4 podcasts: letters a-f, g-m, n-t and u-z respectivley.

Letters taken already are A, B, C, D, E, F, H, I, L, M, N, P, Q, R, S, T, V and X.

So, if you’re interested, pick a letter and let me know the artist name and song title you propose featuring. No sound files yet, I’ll let you know when songs/intros are needed in due course. Remember, podsafe music only.

Send to neil@wellmademusic.co.uk

I hope you will enjoy the podcast.

  1. HI Neil,
Thanks for the initiative on this podcast Neil, Part 1 is a nice touch, and what a great way to have new podcasters get into the loop, as we all have listeners that we have in our networks and with this, the network will spread………….This is what podcasting is all about. The Network. so lets support it……….go for gold from New Zealand….Jason T

Hi Neil! It’s been a couple months since the last cast, I dearly hope you’ll do more! I know it’s probably time-consuming, but I enjoy it and believe you’ve got enough of a fan base to keep it going. I’ve even enjoyed the running commentary on format changes, which I personally think you should always do–it’s become a part of your format. 🙂

Looking forward to hearing your dulcet Scottish tones again here in sunny California sometime soon,
